Good oral hiegene starts early!
August 4th, 2008

We met for breakfast at Eggtc. today on 51st & Main. The food was great and Maya had a nice time with her grandparents.

but where’s Aunt Niki? Maya decided to chew on Kate’s Barbie’s while she waited for the guest of honor to arrive home with the yummy DQ ice cream cake. We headed over early because the power was out at our house.

Its so much fun to play with your cousin’s toys when they’re not there to supervise!

We got a shot of the cake (guess who helped pick it out?), but no picture of the b-day girl! We’ll have to get some pics soon to post!

We went to Tamara’s house yesterday for an afternoon playdate with the crew. Here’s Maya wishing she was smaller so she could ride in the bouncy seat.

We tried to get a group shot of the babies, but as it turns out, they weren’t into cooperating.

The twins Faye & Evelyn are standing in the back and next to them is Sawyer & mommy Jill. In the front L is mommy Stephanie with son Liam, Eva, Keira & Maya.
We went over to hang with the Amberson’s a few days ago. M was quite fussy so we had to get out of the house. Once we got there, Uncle Dennis took over and started playing guitar for her. Instantly, she was a happy girl again. She was having so much fun we ended up staying until after 10! Daddy was still working so we called him to meet us at home after our fun night.

Somebody adores her uncle!

Cousin Griffin played for her too.

We haven’t seen our friends Misty & Dan for awhile. Bryton & Misty came over for a play date last week and we had a great time catching up. We hope to see Dan soon, maybe at the housewarming?!

The boy’s got talent!

Drummer boy

Bryton is just beautiful (or handsome, can you tell I have a girl?) and has the sweetest personality. It was such a pleasure getting to meet him!
We were installing new light fixtures in our bathroom last week and Maya wanted to help.

She kept pulling up on the ladder to try and climb to Daddy.

Baby was too much help, she got banished to the tub with her new T-Rex from her Dad.

Here’s baby girl driving her little car around with Nanny/Auntie Kaitlin on Friday, getting all geared up for her trip to Des Moines to see Grandma Jacobsen and Uncle Brandon.

Here we all are having lunch downtown at Spaghetti Works.

M loves her Grandma!

Maya had her 1st haircut last week. Ms. Leslie did a good job. She gave Maya a toy to distract her while she made a few snips.

Yes, of course we saved some of the hair.

The final touches…

No more frizzies!
