The life of new parents

My weekly Bible study was at our house tonight so Maya hung out with her dad. He thought she might want to go with him out to dinner to Red Lobster and then shopping for a video camera. Apparently she did because daddy reported that Maya was a perfect angel. She slept through most of dinner and was happy to shop with him. When they came home they were both all smiles.

I was telling Maya about her date with daddy and she was all smiles in anticipation. She’s quite advanced, I don’t know if I’ve mentioned, so she knew exactly what I was telling her.

Saturday night we went over to the Ambersons to hang out.  Here’s Griffin and Maya playing with the glow worm Grif got her when she was born.

Maya put on an extra cute outfit for the birthday party.

Maya has been enjoying time with her Grandma Rosie this week.  We went out for coffee on Monday and yesterday Grandma came over to help mommy do some organizing.
