Parenting 301

A couple weekends ago we had Sylvie and family over, here are the sweet girls in their pj’s.

Tricia is our nanny that has been with us a couple months now.  Don’t know what we’d do with her!  Here we are taking the girls to the park when Mommy was supposed to be working.  It was so nice outside I just had to take a break with my girls.

Lila is telling Kaitlin a story.  Kaitlin said she got her to laugh quite a bit.  Ella laughed for me yesterday and that was priceless.

Dustin & I on our way out the door for my work holiday party at Club 1000.  We went with some friends and ended up having a really good time.

This might not be the most common way to celebrate an anniversary but this is our story.  Grandma J and Lynn came down to stay for the weekend so Dustin and I could go to a b&b for our 10 year anniversary.  We went out to dinner and stayed in town at Chateau Avalon and brought the babies with us.  Maya was happy to have Grandma all to herself.  Things went pretty good until the girls woke up with a fever.  They seemed better so we went shopping for a while and then home to have the Ambersons over for the super bowl.  Right before bed around 11:00pm Lila felt hot to me so I took her temp, it was 102.9 so off to Urgent Care we went.  By the time we got there it was 103.6 and baby girl was diagnosed with RSV and hospitalized from Sun-Thurs.  Thank goodness for Grandma J and Lynn!  They stayed a few extra days to watch Ella and Maya and thanks to my mom who spent every night with me at the hospital to help out with Lila.  I went back and forth between hospital and home as I could to feed Ella and it was a crazy time.  She is doing great now and everything is well.

I took Maya to see Elmo Live with Sylvie, Jonas and their parents.  We all had a great time.

Miss Ashley without whom I would have lost my mind lately!  She’s been a huge help in the 1st couple months of adjusting to life with twins and I’m going to miss her so much since she’s moving away for 4 months!
