On our last night at the lake we went for dinner at Backwater Jack’s. We had great seats outside on the patio and listened to a live Reggae band while we had dinner.

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010Lissa, Jo Ellen, Nichole and I took our annual girls trip this past weekend. We stayed at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in the Lake of the Ozarks. Not quite as fancy as our 1st trip to West Palm Beach, FL last summer, but it was nice not to have to fly anywhere. It was very, very hot and the whole resort is on a hill so I didn’t have the easiest time getting around, but once we were in the water all was well. We all missed our kiddos, but it sure was nice to get away for a relaxing weekend.

On Sunday, we rented a boat for 4 hours. This was my favorite part of the trip. Jo Ellen was our Skipper and did a great job keeping us safe on the lake.

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010Chris and Dawndy invited us over to Chris’s parent’s house and we went out on their boat and went swimming in their pool and had a nice dinner. Everyone had a great time.

The Fairy Princess
Sunday, December 20th, 2009Last weekend we went to see the fairy princess at the KC Museum. Chris, Dawndy, Lilli & Luna came with us as well. Good thing, I never would’ve waited over an hour to see the princess but being together made it bearable.
