Still in love with her kitchen from Grandma Jacobsen!

Such a good mommy

Last Saturday we met Aunt Brie at MomMom’s apartment clubhouse for a Halloween party. Maya was mostly interested in the pumpkins.

Maya had a great birthday. Dustin & I took the day off. We went to get her 2 yr pics taken and then to lunch with Grandma Linda. Maya was over smiling for pictures at this point…

After lunch we went to the mall for a visit to Build a Bear. 1st we had to decide which bear, then we stuffed it, then we washed and brushed it.

Next we picked out some clothes and hair ties for Birthday Bear.

Then we entered her info in the computer for her birth certificate.

Then we took a nap and headed over to P-Ma’s house for dinner and swinging.

After dinner we went to the Raytown Library so the girls (Maya, Lilli & Luna) could hear Dino Dell play for the costume party.

SuperMaya!
Maya has several good friends already at 2 years old! So sweet. Here is a pic of Lilli, Maya & Keira. Lilli was 3 last month and Keira will be 2 in November.

Maya only has cool friends. Below is Sylvie from St. Jo. I did something wrong with the red-eye, her eyes are perfect in real life.

Grandma Linda got Maya a kitchen for her birthday. When she woke up on party day it was waiting for her. Here she is still in her pj’s super excited!

After a bath, she still can’t break away from her kitchen.

Grandma Linda made these beautiful cakes and mints for Maya’s party. They tasted as great as they look! It was a lot of work and we really appreciate it Grandma!!

Not sure what to do with the fire on the cakes.

I’ll have a horsey please!

We did Abby’s Run Sunday morning. Dustin pushed Maya in the jogging stroller while we ran the 5k. Of course Dustin still beat me by 5 minutes even pushing the stroller! In my defense, I did hurt my back after mile 2 and could hardly finish, I’m sure I would’ve beat them if that hadn’t happened. right…

Griffin & Kate ran along side Maya to help her with her 1st tot trot!

She loved her race, all day she kept saying, “Maya run!”

Maya won her division (to be fair she did have an advantage since she’s almost 2 but ran with the 1 year olds). A lady from the KC Star was there and took down Maya’s info so maybe we’ll see her name in the paper!

Kate ran with the other 8 year olds and she was towards the front as well! Good job Kate!

Sylvie’s daddy had a birthday party Saturday night and they had some of us up for chili. We had a great time.

Dustin found an awesome pumpkin patch to take Maya to on Sunday. Its called Johnson Farms 15 min. south of where we live.

Hay ride out to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins!

Maya found her perfect pumpkin

They had horses, pigs, chicks, and goats!

Nichole & Sylvie came down from St. Jo to meet us for Kindermusik, pizza and playing at Loose Park. Here are the girls eating a snack.

Sylvie liked to push Maya on the swing.

Sunday was Olivia’s Christening. Here’s the happy family. Olivia’s wearing the same gown that Niki wore for her baptism when she was a baby.
