We took Aunt Brie out to breakfast on her birthday. Maya spotted the horses in the water while walking to The Classic Cup so we had to take a detour.

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009Saturday evening we went over to Lilli’s house. We had a nice dinner and played outside at Dawndy’s and over at Grandma Rosie’s in the water and sand.
Grandma Rosie put up Maya’s swing in her new arbor and the girls were thrilled to take turns going fast!

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009We spent last weekend in Tipton, IA at Grandma’s house. Maya had lots of fun riding on the lawn mower with Grandma.
We had a nice visit with Carol at a coffee shop in town.
Grandma has horses in her barn which Maya had to see every time we came home or left.

There’s a slide inside this kangaroo that Maya loved to go down.

Wine country
Thursday, September 10th, 2009Dustin & I spent one day of our recent trip to Monterey touring different wineries. Below is a pic of some of the vines at Chateau Julien. Our tour guide was wonderful and we learned a lot.
They have a huge warehouse of barrels where their wine is being aged.
We stopped by Talbott for a tasting and then had lunch at a nice outdoor bistro next door.

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009Hanging out with Dad in the ocean. We were at Carmel by the Sea for the afternoon.
Uncle Corey played with baby girl in the ocean as well.

Happy Birthday to Mama! We spent the evening of my bday in San Fran and hung out at Fisherman’s Warf until we took a cable car back to the hotel.
