The life of new parents

Dustin & Maya went with me Sunday to Omaha.  I had one visit in Omaha on Monday and another in Lincoln Monday afternoon.  We went to visit Aunt Barb on the way and had a really nice visit.  Maya was very happy to see everyone.  Here she is in a car seat turned around to the front for the first time.  She looks like such a big girl!  (She’s not though, she’s still a baby)  :o)

Below is a shot of Maya’s 1st step!  She took one full step for the 1st time and it was fun that so many people were there to see it!  It seems that she’ll take off any day, but nothing more than 1 step quite yet.

Getting a hotel room with a loft sounded like a good idea, until I saw the stairs.

While I did my visit in Lincoln Dustin & Maya went to the mall.  I joined them after for lunch and then we got to ride on the carousel.
