Maya & Daddy picked some apple’s from our tree tonight and took them over to feed the horses.

I think they liked their tasty treat.

Maya pulled herself up to the piano on Saturday morning and played us a nice little song.

We went to Kwanza & Jo Ellen’s new house today in Lee’s Summit and tried out their pool. Here are the kids getting ready for the walk to the pool!

Maya shared her floaty toy with Jonas.

The swings are always a hit.

Sweet boy.

Nichole & Sylvie came down to hang out with us for the day. Here are the girls checking out the horses across the street.

Playing in dirt with Grandma Rosie.

Maya is pulling up on everything and last night she got from the coffee table to the couch and then back again without falling. She took a few steps around the coffee table as well. She’ll be walking before we know it!

Baby got mail! Grandma J. is in Colorado and sent Maya a postcard with horses on it. She loved it and played with it for quite awhile until I had to take it away because she wanted to eat it.

Maya’s enjoying all the new food she’s trying. So far her favorites are cheerios and bananas. She tried some watered down apple juice this morning which she only likes out of a big girl glass, she doesn’t want to mess with the sippy cups.

Today she learned the fine art of smushing bananas.

She’s pulling up on everything she can find.

Happy girl playing with her San Diego bear waiting for her friends to come over and take her to the pool!

We’ve had the pleasure of having Kaitlin 2 days a week this summer to watch Maya. Yesterday was her last day before heading back to school and Maya & I took her out to breakfast. Here’s Maya mid-cheerio.

Maya loves her new little people princess castle!

It had been ages since my girlfriends and I had a night out together w/o the babies. We went to the Power & Light district last night to celebrate Jo Ellen’s birthday. We had dinner at Gordon Bierch and then went to Howl at the Moon, Big Sky (no, none of us rode the bull) and Flying Saucer. We had a lovely time and it was great catching up on how everyone is doing.

Lissa & Nichole

Here we are outside Lissa’s building. We got a tour of her office, the place is gorgeous. Her view of the city is amazing.
We went to Wonderscope, a children’s museum in Shawnee tonight. Grandma Rosie & Grandpere came with us, but daddy had to stay home and mow two houses. Maya had a great time and loved playing with the toys and the other kids.

Uncle Lee was in town last week and we all went to breakfast…we were pretty tired but Maya was excited to see her Uncle and put on her MU gear to support the team.

We headed to Wichita on Wednesday, Kaitlin came with us this time and we had a great time. We had dinner and then did some shopping and walking.

Baby girl loves to look at the ducks.

We met for breakfast at Eggtc. today on 51st & Main. The food was great and Maya had a nice time with her grandparents.
