Maya & Daddy went on a walk while I finished cooking dinner.
Lee & Kait drove down for Grandma Rosie’s b-day dinner. We went ahead and had it early since we’ll be in San Diego on her actual birthday. We all had a really nice time.

Thursday night Maya and I went to a Tastefully Simple party and met up with a couple girls and their new babies from my prenatal yoga class. Maya was a perfect angel. There was a 2 month old named Keira and a 4 1/2 month old named Eva. Now Maya has more girlfriends and the next play date is already in the works!
Saturday afternoon we went to Cousin Griffin’s basketball game.
It’s been freezing here in KC, so Maya got the opportunity to wear her “out and about pram” finally!
Chris, Nic & Sylvie came down from St. Jo Saturday. The boys watched the babies while Nic and I went out for lunch. It was so nice to have an uninterrupted grown up lunch! Later we all made dinner and watched a movie as best as you can with 2 little ones. We had a great time. Maya sure loves her little friend Sylvie.

My weekly Bible study was at our house tonight so Maya hung out with her dad. He thought she might want to go with him out to dinner to Red Lobster and then shopping for a video camera. Apparently she did because daddy reported that Maya was a perfect angel. She slept through most of dinner and was happy to shop with him. When they came home they were both all smiles.
I was telling Maya about her date with daddy and she was all smiles in anticipation. She’s quite advanced, I don’t know if I’ve mentioned, so she knew exactly what I was telling her.

Maya has been enjoying time with her Grandma Rosie this week. We went out for coffee on Monday and yesterday Grandma came over to help mommy do some organizing.

It has been a beautiful weekend here in KC. We took advantage of the nice weather and went shopping on the Plaza yesterday. We stopped into Children’s Place where daddy found Maya some much needed shades for the bright sunny day. Bebe girl got a lot of attention for looking so cute.

We spent part of the day over at the Amberson’s where Maya took a little nap to get ready for the big party. This was before she spit up on Aunt Niki’s NYE outfit and her own dress.
